Dragonfly Gallery, Oak Bluffs, Massachusetts. August, 1999. After seeing the artist's work at the 1999 Martha's Vineyard All-Island Art Show, Holly Alaimo, owner of the Dragonfly Gallery, invited the artist to exhibit some of his work at the gallery. Three pieces -- "South Road", "Toward South Beach", and "Chilmark Trees" -- were selected for exhibition along with the work of other Vineyard artists. All three of these pieces sold within a month. |
